CAMPING!!!!

Don had a brilliant idea that he wanted to start camping. So, he went and bought a tent and me a sleeping bag and we went to Eagle Lake in California for the weekend. Needless to say, Don and the girls had a BLAST! There was this cute little swimming hole that had huge rocks to jump off of. Don had a great time doing that. We were surprised at how well we were able to put a tent up ;) he he! Our first time! I was in charge of the food and THOUGHT that I had done a good job. Except I forgot the hotdogs..... but brought the buns. And forgot all the vegetables to put into our tin foil dinners. SO... we ended up having just hamburgers (no buns for those though) Pretty sad when Don says that the best meal we had the entire trip was the sandwich he had and the lunchables that me and the girls ate. WOW! Next time... HE gets food duty! Camping is a hard one for me. Alittle too tender for me right now since my dad just passed away and that is the only thing we really did with him. So, needless to say, I sat by the river and cried a lot. But overall had a relatively good time. I have decided though that if Don wants to sleep over again... he and the girls can go it alone :) I am too fond of my own bed :) What great memories!!!!
