First Days

Both of my girls are now back in full swing in the school thing. So three out of four in our family is in school and we all love it. Aleah started first grade on August 4th. She was so very excited and so was mommy. I was ready for it.... or so I thought! So, we got her up and ready and we all walked her to school, showing her which door to line up at and everything. Assuming that it was just going to be like Kindergarten, I let Aleah line up and we all got ready to head inside. Except that Aleah's teacher (Mrs. Jacobs) came out, got all the kids and said, "Goodbye Mom and Dad!" So, we weren't allowed to go. It made me just cry cause I didn't even say goodbye to Aleah. She just happily went in. But she is loving it. There are three other kids from her Kindergarten class in there with her. And about 6 of her classmates go to church with us as well. So, needless to say, I think that it's going to be a great year!

Mya started her second year of Preschool on the 2nd of September. We had to switch schools from last year cause Mrs. Stoddard is going to be moving. We are sad about it cause we just loved her. But we are now with Mrs. Susan (who is also a member of the church :)) Her first day she had a Teddy Bear Picnic and so Mya took her cuddle bear that grandma gave her with her. It was really cute! We are very excited for school and all the adventures it brings us.

While we are on the subject of school, I may as well give you MY update. I am taking Children's Theatre this semester in which we are putting on the play Frog and Toad for all the kids around Reno. I will be playing the role of a squirrel. The trouble makers of the play :) And I also get a good dance scene. So, it should be fun! I am also taking a dance class and I got invited to join MTT (Musical Touring Theatre) It is by invite only by the director of the theatre department and only the best of the best are in it. So, I am VERY excited and VERY honored to do it :) So, looks like this semester is going to be a very busy but very fun one! Wish us all luck :)
