Right after my parents got divorced I remember my mom made these little clipboards with our initials on them with a clothespin attached to it. And she would randomly clip little notes of encouragement or a little treat or something. It was something that I really enjoyed and meant alot to me. So, when I was out shopping for Valentine's Day I came across these cute little mailboxes that I knew the girls would just LOVE. And I instantly thought of using these for the girls as their "clipboards."
I immediately come home and tell Don about it and he gets excited and thought it was a great idea. So he went right out to get the stuff to mount them on the wall. So here they are.... the girls are SO excited to wake up every morning to see if they got a surprise or a note from mommy or daddy.
I hit the after Valentine's clearance and got the girls all sorts of fun goodies to put in their mailbox when they have had good behavior or if I am proud of them. I think that this might warrent some good behavior out of them. Not like they are bad or anything. But gotta use the bribery while it still works... right??? :)

Those mailboxes are adorable! We had mailboxes when we were young...they had both our chore assignments as well as treats!
