A late but very Happy Halloween

Halloween was a little different in our house this year. We were able to do the typical things like go to a pumpkin patch, carve pumpkins and what not. They even had a Halloween dance concert. But this year, I was not able to be with the girls on actual Halloween. I was the backstage manager for the school show Sweeny Todd and we had two performances on Halloween. So, dad was amazing and stepped up to make sure that they girls made quite a haul Trick or Treating. I was feeling so bad about not being there for the girls and Don would reassure me that I shouldn't worry about it.... all the dad's were out with the kids :) The girls were cute this year. Mya wanted to be a witch and Aleah chose to be her black cat. During the day, I ran across some cool facts about Halloween and it fit perfectly with my girls. I read that the reason witch's have black cats is because a black cat protects witches and keeps their powers safe. :) Cute huh? I also read that if you see a spider on Halloween, it means that someone is watching out over you. The girls saw one in the garage that day :) So, here are a bunch of pics from all the Halloween festivities!!!
