SO LATE.... But SHE'S SIX!!!

I can't believe that Aleah is now SIX. And I can't believe that I am such a slacker and I am not posting this almost 2 months after her birthday. Man, things have been crazy! But here it is. This birthday was kinda a low key one. We let Aleah decide what she wanted to do. She at first said that she wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheeses like her sister but later decided that she wanted to do something more big girl. So, we just invited some friends over and we went to a park and had pizza and cake. She had alot of fun! Wow-- I can't believe it was six years ago that I had you. Man, time really does fly!!!!! (And yes, your very first french braid. You loved it :))

Dear Aleah,

I just wanted you to know that I am SO proud of you and the wonderful girl are you becoming. I see the growth that you are making in school and in life that it just blows me away. You are such a sweetheart to your sister and you are so caring and loving. You love having friends and being able to play with them. You LOVE to draw and your artisic abilities are blowing my mind. You are getting quite effient on the computer and you also love to read. You are such a good example to our family in constantly reminding us to say our prayers and in doing what's right. I love to watch you watch out for your sister as well. You are always making sure she's not scared at nights.... you even let her sleep in bed with you sometimes to keep her safe. You have such a big heart and I love you SO very much! Happy birthday sweetheart!!
