Aleah

Aleah has changed so much over the lsat couple of months and I wanted to share some of it with you. First off, she no longer likes her hair curly. She loves it when I straighten her hair like mine. So, I took this picture of her after I did and I thought she looked so beautiful and grown up. It kinda made me sad.

Aleah loves to read. She has become one of those kids who walks through a store with her nose in a book, bumping into things as I say, "Put that book down and watch where you are walking." :) She still to this day loves to color and will do so for hours. She is a GREAT speller. Hates math :) Her best friend at school right now is Leah. Too cute.... Aleah and Leah are inseperable at school. Aleah has an imagination like no one's business. She loves to play make believe... cats, mom and dad, you name it. She loves to come to rehearsals with mommy. She told me yesterday, "Do you know why I love going to rehearsal with you mommy? It's because of Elijah." My director has a seven year old that is at the theatre too. She has quite the crush on him. :) ha ha!

Aleah can sing SO well. I have a friend who is an AMAZING singer and she heard Aleah sing the other day and was BLOWN away at how well her intination is, her pitch, everything. I am so excited to get her into voice lessons. She LOVES playing on the piano. We are looking into starting lessons for her very soon. CAN'T WAIT! It is so exciting to see the talents that are growing in her. Aleah currently is in dance classes. She has fun in it but I don't think it's really her thing. But we will see.

She is such a sweetheart. But also a little devil as well. Now I can't really just sit and tell all her goods without leeking out some of those naughty things, right? Good with the bad :) She is my drama queen. She has melt downs all the time. And it makes me giggle because it is Mya that is always saying to her, "It's ok Aleah. Let's figure out how to......" :) She is a little chatter box. She doesn't ever stop talking.... even at school.... oops! So we are working on keeping that bubble in her mouth. She loves her cat, Tinkerbell.... TOO much! She smoothers her. Holds her too much. Won't let her go. To the point that Tinkerbell lashes out at her. But I can't say that she doesn't have enough love in her heart :)

Aleah is such a wonderful, smart, talented little girl. I love her dearly and I am so grateful that the Lord instilled His trust in me to watch over her in this world. I am SO lucky to be her mother!!
