Just a cute moment by Aleah that I actually caught on video! I was getting ready for the day, mind you it was at 3 in the afternoon. (seems like that is sometimes the soonest I can find time to do so) and I heard Aleah singing in my bed. Now, I'm not going to ruin it all so.... just watch it!!! Too funny!!!

My new look!
So, as a request by my mother-in-law... I am posting my new look. Every once in a while I just feel like I need to do something completely different with my hair. I have this attitude that it's just hair. You don't like what you do to it--- change it. So, I went to Salon 7 (where everyone at school goes to and have heard AMAZING things about them) and told Kristin to "do whatever." So, we took it to a nice A-line cut and dyed it dark to make my eyes pop. And I, of course, wanted that extra little POP so we added Peek-a-Boo blonde strips in it. LOVE IT!!!!!!! I think that I actually want to go back and get more blonde put in all over. I like the dramatic effect of it. YAY!!! So, here you go Lorna! What do ya think??????

Meet Tinkerbell
Please join with me as we welcome our newest member of our family. I know that you were all hoping that it would be another baby. But close enough! Tinkerbell was adopted into our family on Saturday and has soon found her way into ALL of our hearts. (YES... even MINE.... if you can believe that) She is actually curled up asleep at my feet at this exact moment. Despite the meowing for her mommy at one o'clock in the morning at my bedside.... she really has been a pretty easy adjustment. She is 8 weeks old and is pretty much already litter box trained. She is pretty playful so we are having to train her AND the girls on the best way to handle her. The girls LOVE her to death. We can't seem to have them leave her alone. Does this surprise anyone? Ha ha! Most of the time we either find her hiding underneath our bed or behind the washer and dryer. Yep yep! Who would have guessed that I would be a proud CAT OWNER!!! There ya have it! Isn't she cute?Loving written by Janna at 2:19 PM 2 comments

Dieing Easter Eggs
We love dieing Easter eggs at our house. Well, mommy doesn't really. Don't like the mess of it and how it dyes her fingers... not to mention her nicely manicured nails :) That's why I am lucky enough to be behind the camera :) :) The girls had a great time mixing all the colors to see what would happen when you put one egg in pink, yellow and green. And another one is blue and orange. Too much fun!!!! Let the fun of Easter begin :) :)

Valentine's Party
Due to a death in the family, Valentine's Day didn't really happen at this house. That is why I am glad that Aleah was able to still attend her school Valentine Party. Mya missed hers at her school cause she was out of town so I took her with me to Aleah's. It was alot of fun! She LOVED being there with all the big kids and they seemed to really enjoy that Aleah's little sister got to come!!!! I have had the priveledge to be on the "parent's board" that puts together all of the class parties and so I am able to go in a be there during the parties. Yeah!!!! So, the kids got to decorate a Valentine's bag.........

Turning 30
So, yes... I am alittle behind on my posts and this one especially. Don turned 30 back on the 2nd of February. He was kinda having a midlife crisis about it..... saying how old he was and it was kinda freaking him out. SO... I decided to surprise him by flying his best friend, Matt out there to spend the entire weekend with him. A HUGE guys weekend! Well, Don guessed that that's what I was doing for him so I had to throw him off. I made him think that we were going away for the weekend, without the kids. I even had someone call the house and leave a message on our answering machine, confirming our reservations at a hotel. I even made sure to play it while Don was in the room so that he over heard it. Well, it worked cause I had him totally convinced and even confused as to what we were really doing for his birthday. SO.....
